I found out just today that Thomas was my great-great uncle, thanks to my wonderful step-father who discovered this information for me while working on our family genealogy. I am honored to see this page and even more touched to see that others have visited and written their condolences. Thank you so much for remembering Thomas, especially since he died so very many years ago.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 97th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

My deepest condolences to the Borden family and the officers of the Long Beach Police Department over the tragic loss of Officer Thomas Borden. Our brother Thomas is gone but he is still remembered. He is now protecting the streets of Heaven with St. Michael and his angels. May our brother Thomas rest in peace. Never forget the fallen hero!
