I have known Chris since he was very young. His father lived across the street from us and he became friends of our children. We watched Christopher grow from a boy into a wonderful young man, husband and Police Officier. Even as a boy Chris was dedicated to becoming a policeman. He was a strong, compassionate and loving friend of all who had the great honor to get to know him. When he first brought Emily (His wife) to meet me I knew she was the one for Christopher. Her strength and perserverance in life matched his perfectly. Of all the terrible tragedies that I have saw in my many years the death of this wonderful young Police Officier is the worst. The United States lost a loyal and dedicated officer today and all that knew him lost their "BEST FRIEND". My prayers are with Chris, his family and the officers that knew and loved him. God give you all the strength to go on without "Chris" and Em ... Thank you for being the wonderful, loving wife and best friend to your Christopher. Take care of him God ... Of the many you watch over Chris is so very special ...

Carolyn Spry
Friend since very young.
