Reflections for Detective Lieutenant Liusila Brown
A couwardly deed took the life of a hero. So senseless and needless. God Bless the family, friends and Department. You will not be forgotten, Detective Brown!

Lt. Brown, American Samoa is, from everything I've heard, a paradise. Paradise was tainted a bit by your murder and the crime was compounded by your inability to fully defend yourself. I hope the Territorial Government has learned a lesson from this and woken up to the realities of life, regardless of where you work.
My heart and prayers go out to all in American Samoa who knew and loved you. You are now walking the beat in a different paradise.
God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

This senseless loss that took Lieutenant Brown from his family and friends is so difficult to understand. His courage and bravery, wearing a badge and serving his community made him a hero. Please take comfort in knowing that he has stepped across the threshold of death into the loving arms of God. Rest in Peace, brother. The members of the Fraternal Order of Police of Florida offer our sincere sympathy and condolences.

For Detective Lieutenant Liusila Brown:
The duties of the law officer, no matter the rank or position, involve high risk. Especially when those around us act simply by high exitement or deep emotion. To strike out at a law officer who stands at his or her post, and who may not be fully aware of an actual threat, is a senseless act. Those who would commit such this crime come from the ranks of those without courage or who possess not even a speck of honor.
We regret that our brother Liusila would lose his life a victim of murder, but who now stands as a hero among heros. He has given his life in the name of law and justice.
We pray for Liusila's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another during the days ahead.
I am proud to render Det. Lt. Liusila Brown a final salute.

Dear Lt.:
Once again, a member of the thin blue line has had to make the supreme sacrifice. I only pray to Almighty God that he helps your family through this difficult time, and the knowledge that the bastards that did this will now face justice.
Hopefully the local government there in Samoa will realize the inherent dangers of law enforcement and come of age and permit the officers to be armed.
Rest in peace my brother. You did your time in hell.
