Shawn you were a winner here on earth, as im sure, you are gods winner in heaven. You served your community proudly and enjoyed doing so. It was my extreme pleasure getting to know you in the 80th basic police acadamy in Bristol. Shawn you served us proud as our class president, and no matter how discouraged we may have gotten your great attitude along with that big smile made everyones day a little better. You will be greatly missed but not forgotten my brother. May god bless you and your family, along with everyone who knew you. A true leader, true friend and a true Hero who sacraficed your life attempting to help another!!!!!!!!!!!For those who arent aware the nickname Smiley was given to Shawn in the 80th Basic Police Acadamy in Bristal, VA because no matter how bad it got he kept a big smile on his face. Rest in peace my brother, your watch is over but we shau continue the watch in rememberance of you and the brotherhood of other fallen Officers.
