NH F&G, Family & Friends, People of NH , I extend my deepest sympathy regarding the loss of Officer Waterhouse.

On a recent snowmobile trip 03/2012, a friend took me to Boundary Pond a pristine area which I never knew existed. While standing on the thawing shore my friend pointed out the monument marker in memory of "The Jolly Green Giant".

NH F&G what a tribute to Officer Waterhouse on the same shores he stood making the ultimate sacrifice protecting NH and this piece of nature that words can not describe. I am still in awe as to how beautiful the area is. Officer Waterhouse's service and other's like him is why this area is what it has been and will be for years to come.

Although I was only 8 years old at the time of this tragedy, 43 years later Officer Waterhouse has impacted me with a memory I will never forget.

I too wear the badge to protect & serve, wether chest deep snow or thawing shore on future trips, I will make it a point to stand over your spot of sacrifice, pay my respects & pray for youre eternal peace.

God Bless

Respectfully, Lew Palmieri Southington, CT.
