To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 91st anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.
My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Ranger Bell. I started my long career as a Ranger 20+ years ago. !9 years ago it was brought to my attention that you had not received the reconition he you so greatly deserved. Spured on by Carlton (DOC) MCclure and the rest of the good men and women of the Rangers, we finally were able to reconize you at the state level. Now with the efforts of more great rangers you have a place on the national wall. Except for the gift of love from God, there is no greater gift than to give your life in the for others. You are a credit to the orgazation and to all Rangers. You will never be forgotten, and I will continue to serve in you memory as long as I am able to do so. Rest in Peace and Go with God. For now he has another great Ranger at his side.

Ranger Bell, it is with honor and respect to your legacy that we have tried to ensure your passing was recognized and provided meaning to those left behind and those of us that follow your path. The men and women who wear the Ranger badge today do so knowing that we walk in your shadow, and always seek to conduct ourselves with dignity and respect to continue to honor your memory. Rest in Peace Ranger Bell, the second watch is now on duty guarding the citizens of Colorado. May God bless you and keep you at his side. "Ranger Bell, Out of Service"

Ranger Bell - I regret that it's taken almost 87 years for both your name and the manner of your passing to be known to us. My small department relies on the Colorado Mounted Rangers to assist us every July 4th with crowd and traffic control. We consider the CMR to be equal law enforcement partners. I thank you for your service to both the people and the State of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and my His perpetual light shine upon you.
