My heart is broken as I watched the news and learned what happened to these young dedicated officers, both with young families. Thanks to these officers - and all officers - who go to work every day praying that they will come home safely to their families. We love you, we support you, and we are praying daily for you.

"Bittersweet"
Nothing can describe the life and devotion's of a Police Officer except one word and that is Bittersweet. To serve and protect and that they do. How they will pay a price indeed. It saddens me, for, the families whom will lose a devoted father, husband, brother, and a fellow officer loses his police partner. Surely nothing is so true than Men in Blue.
And, nothing is so Bittersweet that he stands to defend us in a time of need, just to be shot down while doing such heroic acts of which is by his choice...
I feel angry and sad at the same time for the families and I pray that always your father, husband or brother, police partner will look down from where he lie and blow a soft air to remind you that he is right there!
That life is Bttersweet, so, carry on though he is gone, that will peacefully keep him forever in your heart and soul.
