I knew this Officer, as he was a friend of mine. I worked with his father, a retired CHP Officer. Both of these men are men of integrity with a tremendous work ethic. I am saddened that Officer Justin McGrory had to pay the ultimate sacrifice and be taken from his family at such a young age. Officer McGrory was attempting to make the roads safer for everyone and in turn was killed by an errant motorist. My prayers and thoughts go out to his wife, children, parents, sister and relatives. This is a sad day for his family and the CHP. God bless them all.
