For Constable John W. Brown:
Our duty as law officers presents a wide range of situations that we might become involved with as we protect and serve the public. Sometimes it is a situation that we have been involved with before, but suddenly something new comes into play. Our health is the last thing that most of think will fail us when the stress is great. But, truly, none of us can predict what our fate will be whether it is what occurs outside of where we stand or what might occur inside of us. We must contend with the results of years of stress simply doing our job.
We regret that our brother John was stricken while providing a service to others as a noble protector and a true servant to the public. We trust that his fellow officers will determine the facts here and that see that justice is carried out in accordance with the law.
We pray for John's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. Mayb they be ready to assist one another as the need presents itself.
I am pround to render Constable John Brown a final salute.
Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
