Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Ian Michael Deutch
Unbelievable. You are a true American. I am thankful your partner's aim was true and I am not reading that the suspect was "wounded" He chose his actions and was dealt with. Rest easy Bro-
The thoughts and prayers of the ASP go out to your family.

This type of tragedy strikes the hearts of law enforcement everywhere. I was once asked why I want to attend the services of an officer I did not personally know, and my response was, "It doesn't matter if I knew him, he was still my brother!" My heart goes out to Sheriff DeMeo and the Deputies of Nye county as well as the family of Deputy Deutch. God Bless you all and be safe!!

To the family of Deputy Deutch, I greive with you on the loss of your beloved officer.I will quote an unknown author
A man will put a circle around himself and protect himself at whatever the cost. A good man will put a circle around himself and his family and protect them at whatever the cost. A great man will put a circle around EVERYONE and protect them no matter what the cost. It is obvious that Deputy Deutch is a great man. Deputy Deutch, thank you for your service, we will keep the streets safe from here.
I lost my brother almost three years ago in the line of duty and can relate to your loss.
