John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

While having a very challenging day, someone noticed my ODMP bracelet with your name on it and I got to tell them what a great LEO, father & person you were. Made my day, but that's just your way of letting us know you are watching over us. You are always remembered, Brian.

Brian,
Thinking of you today, as I do frequently. We all still miss you very much but are still receiving much love and support from family, friends and the LE community. Miss you during football, basketball, and baseball seasons but I will still never be an Oakland Raiders or a Buckeyes fan! But, you always knew that anyway. I have seen Kelly several times this year as we plan her wedding--I would have loved to have heard about your reaction when she became engaged :-) Saw Kelly and your Dad at the Candlelight Vigil just last week-they are doing well. If they were not, I would probably try to get you to visit them in their dreams and fuss at them. You were always pretty good at letting them know just what you thought about just about anything they were doing/planning! I think Patrick has picked up that responsibility pretty well. Vanessa and kids look good in the pictures I see--wish I was able to see them more. The kids are growing like weeds!
Much love to you.

Brian, this is always an especially difficult time to be without you. Not only your EOW, but March Madness. I need your help w/my bracket & somebody to trash talk with. Hoping the Buckeyes can pull it off this year. I know you didn't believe me in 2010, but they were SO close. I still pick them to win ever since so maybe 2013 will be our year :) Anyway, we're trying to keep our heads up, but we wish Heaven weren't so far away. Love & miss you infinitely & unconditionally.

Brian,
Memories of softball and you being the stoic (yet passionate...how is that possible) ball player. You left behind a strong woman, but I know it's hard that she didn't get the lifetime with you as she vowed to have. Your Elena seems to have her mother's spitfire personality (though she blames you). :)
I remember and honor you always, but especially this month, as we get close to your eow date. Thank you for your service, and thanks for loving my friend so....

Officer Walsh,

I tried... I didn't make it though.. but, I tried. I'll try again when another entry-level position hiring process starts. I wish you could have been there to help through the process but, at least just for those few hours you taught me a lot on how a "normal" day can be. I still wish to dedicate my potential LEO Career in your honor

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I am praying for the solace of all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever, Your family is in my heart's embrace today.

Rest In Peace.

I still think about you Brian but even more so the other day. I got a new phone and the only text message that transferred from the old one was to you. It read "Do you want to come in for OT tonight?" You never answered but I'll bet you came in that night. Miss you Walsh

I will never forget the ride along with you... April 18th, 2008... It got a lil' exciting by the Redondo McDonald's... I'll never forget the sedan with busted taillights, then the white SUV and the two collars you got... You and I both saw that before it happened... Its a good thing your buddy was at the park n' ride across the street... I am trying to complete my promise of becoming a fellow officer for FWPD... my Oral Board is in two weeks... Just know I'll dedicate my career to you...

I've never met you Brian. I found out about you by happen stance. I ordered a fallen officer aluminum bracelet in honor of my fallen friend Brian H. Jackson of the Dallas PD. It was supposed to come with his info on it that i sent the company. I recieved a bracelet with your info on it. Funny thing is is that i got it in the mail on Dec 6th 2010 and put it down on my desk that day and cleaned my desk today, Dec 6 2011 and found it. I was gonna send it back but I decided today to put it on and try and memorize your info. I also decided to find you on ODMP so I could read your story. Thank you for serving your community and country and paying the price for our freedoms brother. Wish I could've met you.
