Reflections for Corporal Thomas Paul Jensen

Tommy, I'm sorry that I did not get to know you better. I have been thinking about the few memories that I have, and how you always knew how to make people laugh. People say that we surround ourselves with the type of people that we are. In the recent days you have been surrounded by the greatest. The Heros that have gone before you will take care of you, and we know that you will watch over us. Rest in Peace brother, you will never be forgotten.

For Private First Class Thomas P. Jensen:

Our duty as patrol officers takes us to the scene of many incidents that involve high-risk. Sometimes, traveling on our highways, the high-risk is encountered even before we get there. Our greatest threat, if numbers are brought into the equasion, is in traffic. It is usually by more luck than skill that any of us who patrol are not a casualty. The officer on patrol is at risk every minute of his watch.

We pray for the family, friends, co-workers and all who care about Tom. May they be ready to support one another at the appropriate time.

I am proud to render PFC Thomas Jensen a final salute.

The Lord allows everything to happen for a reason. Although we may not understand the true reason behind certain "acts of God", we must never question him for he is above all. Tommy lived the life that the Lord wanted him to live. No more pain, no more medication, only "Perfect Peace"! I love and respect Kristelle for being that devoted wife God intended her to be and for that the Lord will continue to bless her...
