Although I knew Howard for a very short time in the academy. I often think of him and where I am now and where he too would be if it were not for his untimely death.

I hope, wish and pray his family is doing well.

You were a friend to many in Milltown, I knew you not only from the MRS when I was involved, but you were a true and dear friend of my brother, who was in the police academy with you. Because of your great personality, and easygoing manner, you brightened the lives of many. Your death rattled many of our lives, as you were so very young and with a bright future. It is hard to believe that 25 years has passed. Thank you for the time and service you gave to our little town and for the lives you touched on your very short journey on earth. You are gone, but never forgotten. May you Rest in peace, and God bless your family, who go on with great memories of you and your accomplishments.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 25th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your memory will always be honored and revered as time never diminishes respect.

Rest In Peace
