Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Mark Steven Kemp

The 9th marked 30 years since that fateful day when you left us all. I remember the sadness and shock on the day you passed.
You have not and will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace Mark.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 17th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Mark - I will always remember the great time we had in the early eighties when we hung out together - remember the fun times at the scuba shop on Magnolia and Farmers delite up the street and also when we went shooting up in the hills or to the drive inn on Van Buren with your girlfriend Dana - good times my friend!
I will miss you.....Godspeed!
