Ken was a sincere, kind-hearted friend who easily gained the respect and admiration of everyone who knew him. I met Ken right out of high school and knew he would find his place to serve and protect. My condolences go out to Ken's friends and family. I'll miss you buddy, and always remember you.

I just heard of his death. I am shocked and extremely saddened. My condolences to all my friends in San Diego. Ken was a good Deputy and friend. We were Corporals together in San Diego.
