One of the many amazing men and women who gave so selflessly and heroically that day and the many days that followed. Rest in peace always knowing that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

While on Vacation many years earlier, a song by Elton John came on the radio. Danny asked us to be quiet and listen to the song with him. He told me it was one of his favorite songs.
Thankyou Elton John and Bernie Taupin for the song, "Daniel" .

Danny I will never forget . We will never forget .

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

How many rescuers and members of various agencies have helped on 09/11 and now are starting to die, years after after that tragic day ? It shouldn't happen, they were first to help the victims, without regard for their personal safety. They are true heroes and should be remembered as such. May they be honored and rest in peace.
