LT,
You are no doubt walking the beat on high. Rest in peace Hero, and tell all our brothers and sisters up there we miss them, they are not forgotten, and continue to watch over us while we continue the grind.
I just read that they captured your murderer. Rest assured he will be dealt with, on earth and judgement day. I will pray for your friends, fellow officer and especially those you left behind.

To the family/friends and co-workers of Lt. Michael Vogt: I've re-written this a few times as this is a very difficult situation. First-I am outraged by what the person(s) responsible for this have done. Second-I want to express my concern for all the loved ones of Michael Vogt because of this tragedy. Third-it takes a lot of courage to face this kind of danger. I regret the loss and ultimate sacrifice made by your loved one on the front line of protecting the public.
