I'm sorry for your loss. Lieutenant Vogt served to protect us and I am one civilian who appreciates everything a law enforcement officer has to do to keep me safe. God Bless Mike's family in this time of great sorrow. Working with Mike was a pleasure, he was truly a great officer and a great man. It was amazing that of all the departments, in all the cities, I would come to CHC to work with a fellow ex-Wisconsinite. He touched many lives.

want to offer my sincere condolences to your department, the friends and family Lieutenant Michael Vogt. There is no tragedy quite to heart-wrenching and paralyzing as a line of duty death.
Our family lost a dear family member on April 8, 2009 in Lenior County, NC, in the line-of-duty. My brother-in-law, Det. Allen Pearson was shot and killed.
The pain is like no other and it's not understood unless you have been there.
Please accept my thanks for his service, my prayers for his family and your department. May you find healing in time, as we hope to one day.
This is a club that no one asks to join, no one wants to be a member, but you're thrown into it in the blink of an eye.

It is tremendously sad that this officer was the victim of such ruthless individuals and such a cowardly act. A LOSS of LIFE for someone who was just doing his job and making sure that everyone was safe. May GOD BLESS Your Soul and Your Family be BLESSED with GOD's Care and Love.

My heart is broken and my prayers go out to the family and friends of this dedicated Officer, Lt. Michael Vogt of the Chattahoochee Hills Police Dept. Ga. You showed us the way and you did it ever so splendidly "Sir". You have gone on Heaven is truly a richer place with your divine presence. And God said, "Enter into your realm of paradise and in the presence of those gone before you." "You have kept the faith and you have won the race, now peace is yours forever more." God bless all and give comfort to so many who loved and admired this Best of the Best and was dutily called home.
