54 years of service! What dedication! As a young man living in North Alabama always wanting to get into law enforcement, I remember when Mr.Crabtree was the Sheriff in Madison County Al.. He had a very professional department, by the way they acted, and appeared, right down to the professional bearing of his patrol cars. A good mentor for younger officers, and one for those like me who always wanted to be one. Thanks brother Crabtree, and now let us continue to patrol and investigate. You Sir have more than enough earned the right to Rest In Peace.
