For Polie Officer Alfred Celestain:
Our duty as law officers takes us onto one of the most dangerous of battlefields - a United States highway. Each time we go on patrol we encounter high risk while we perform our duty in traffic. For our brother Al it was his fate that he would make the supreme sacrifice while protecting the public. This alone deems him a hero. Only our Creator knows why he would be chosen so early and on this day.
We pray for Al, his family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to support one another and know when it is the appropriate moment to reach-out with the words and acts of comfort. May each of them remember Al for the best moments he provided light to their lives.
I am proud to render Officer Alfred Celestain a final salute.
