Wen are saddened by the loss of your officer. Trooper Engelhard gave his life in the pursuit of freedom and in bringing security to his community. Nothing so noble could ever be done. He has carried on in the great traditions of the Missouri State Highway Patrol and will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

You're end-of-watch has come, we've got it from here. rest in peace and may God bless those who knew you best. Let freedom ring.

We have known Dennis for several years through our church. During that time we came to know him as a man of deep faith who placed a very high value on family and friends. His laugh and great smile would light up a room.

Our hearts and prayers are with his family and close friends. There will be a hole in our Church family....that we know. But, we also know he's being held in the arms of our God. I hope his family can feel that we have wrapped our arms around them in love and faith.

We wish you peace in your hearts..........
Love, Gary and Linda
