Brother, my most sincere thanks & gratitude for your service and sacrifice. Many years have passed & our department has grown in many ways. When I 1st started working for the S.O. I was assigned to work in central records & identification. Some tours of duty were long & tedious - especially during dog watch, but I learned so much. I was asked if I wanted to work extraditions on my relief days. That really taught me how to search, secure & restrain detained individuals. Rest assured Brother during my law enforcement career I also did my best to serve with character & integrity. I supported my Brothers by being an example as others had been exemplary with me. We maintain your photo, name & EOW within the halls of the Detention Center. We remember you & other fallen brothers annually during Fallen Officers Memorial Day.
God Bless Your Memory & the Memory of all those that followed.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
