Your agency has lost an honorable, dignified and a servant of integrity. Know your name will not be forgotten by those brothers and sisters left behind wo will also care for your family. Your new partners in the badge have also paid the ultimate serving God's children in thier communities. You are among the elite now patrolling God's golden streets in His heaven. You have the ultimate supervisor who loves and cares for you, Jesus Christ, rest in peace. In Christ.

I was saddened to learn of the untimely death of Deputy Sheriff Roy B. Sutton, Jr. Words cannot express the grief felt when a loved one is taken in an instant. Deputy Sutton chose to make a difference in his community. He gave the ultimate sacrifice in while protecting those he had sworn to protect. To his family, I extend my sincere sympathy for your loss. Rest assured that Roy's sacrifice will never be forgotten. I share your pain in the loss of your loved one. My twin brother, Cpl. Ronnie Fewell (Madison, Indiana native) was killed while responding to a domestic violence complaint on March 16, 1983. My heart goes out to Roy's family. Rest in peace my brother, you are with the angels, watching over us daily.
