I offer my sympathy to the Griswold family. I have been exactly where you are now. My father was gunned down in febuary 2008. Although you will never get your loved one back, just remember that they are always with you and watching over you.

As a retired San Diego Police Officer, it is always hard to understand the loss of a fellow officer. This is particularly hard for one department to lose 4 great police officers. Harder yet is the loss to the husband, wives and children left behind. For children to lose a mother is very hard. Mr. Griswold, your wife was brave and respected, take care of the children and let them know she was just called to a greater force, that of God.

With deep sorrow!

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family, friends and fellow officers. A little over 2 years ago our community tragically lost 3 of our own to the hands of lone gunman. Todays headlines brought back a rush of memories & reflections. May God wrap his arms of comfort around your family & law enforcement family.
