Your city, your state and our nation of law enforcement brothers and sisters are in total grief learning of the loss of you, your brothers and a sister to one sadistic action by a perp who has only hate in his heart for our brothers and sisters who serve to protect his rights. God must be as heart broken as we mortals at this action. He has received the four of You in His special group of brothers and sisters in the badge in His kingdom. As you rest in His arms be conforted in knowing Your rbothers and sisters left behind will care for your family and will never let your names be forgotten. Rest in peace. In Christ.

Mark~

Seeing your face on TV is surreal.

My Thoughts and Prayers are with your beautiful Family...Kim, Ashley, Alli, Nick, and your entire Family. May GOD give them strength to get through the difficult days ahead.

To your Brothers in Blue at the Lakewood PD- I wish them strength to comprehend and manage the loss that has been placed upon them. I also wish them perserverance in finding the monster who committed this unspeakable crime. May this monster be found and brought to justice, and may his wrists soon be adorned with 4 pairs of cuffs.

Rest Easy my Friend. It is not how you died that made you a Hero...it is how you lived.

the wish of every cop whos ever walked a beat...to stop seein the bad...to only witness the good in mankind...has finally been given to these four members of law enforcement...as they now patrol the streets of heaven...where only respect and kindness fall on them now...where the words "thank you" are common-place rather than words so rarely heard...
to these four fallen members of the Lakewood PD i say to u that youve spent your time serving the citizens...well its now time to kick back in a place where pain...deciet...disrespect...and hate can no longer touch you...may you rest in peace and watch over your family...friends...and coworkers from above
my deepest sympathies go out to the everyone who is now grieving the loss of these people
you will never be forgotten

Words fail in times like these, but my prayers are with you and your family and your fellow officers. May God bless you all who so selflessly place yourselves in harms way for us. It seems the war you fight here at home is never noticed, except during horrible tragedies like these. May we all honor ALL officers who defend us and protect us. God bless my brother officer, be at peace.

The policeman stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, policeman.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my church have you been true?"

The policeman squared his shoulders and said,
"No lord, I guess I ain't,
Because those of us who carry a badge
can't always be a saint."

I've had to work most Sundays,
and at times my talk was rough,
and sometimes I've been violent,
Because the streets are awfully tough.

But I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at time I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fear.

If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't I'll understand.

There was a silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod.
As the policeman waited quietly,
For the judgment of his god.

"Step forward now, policeman,
You've born your burdens well.
Come walk a beat on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in hell"

May the lord watch over your family in their time of loss. Rest in peace, you are a true hero! GOD SPEED
