Thinking of you and you're family during this horrendous time. As the wife of a police officer who lost his teammate on duty this same month last year, Officer Brad Moody K27, I feel for your grief, but you will be comforted by your brothers and sisters at SPD and your extended police family. Officer Brenton, you're sacrafice is immeasureable, and we will owe you a debt of gratitude forever. You will be welcomed in Heaven by an extraordinary group of men and women and remembered by us all, forever.

Officer Brenton, may you rest in peace knowing that your brothers and sisters in blue will pick up your beat from here. Those people took your life in a senseless act of violence. They will have their day in court, whether it is here on Earth or on that final day of judgment in front of God. You will not have died in vain!

My deepest sympathies go out to your family. There are no words that can bring back Officer Brenton (a father, a husban, and a friend), and there are no words that can bring you peace. I can only pray that you all may find peace in God's caring arms.

To your trainee, I applaud your efforts by staying in the fight to protect your brother officer. May you also find peace in the coming days.

Officer Brenton, you will be missed but never forgotten.
