I hope the family finds comfort in knowing great police work from all sections and the coming together of the L.E. & civilian community took the terrorist off the streets of Seattle.I hope all those wonderful people remain your extended family forever.Timothy was no doubt one of the officers that kept us safe and watched over us on a 2007 vacation to the NW.God Bless those who wear a badge & their families.

Oh how this one hurts and I didn't even know you but I have cried for you and your family. I have cried for your brothers and sisters in blue. I have cried for your probationary officer that was with you on that horrible night. She did a great job and you trained her well.
I Thank You Tim for your service. I Thank your family for sharing you with us. My heart aches for all who knew you. I have viewed the news articles and youtube videos paying their respects to you and what an honor. You were top notch. The best of the best.
I am angered and deeply saddened that you were killed. I know were supposed to forgive but I truely hope your killer rots in hell.
My prayers go out to your brothers and sisters in Blue.
I will continue to pray for your family and rest easy in heaven for your work on earth is done. I know your heavenly father said " Job well done my good and fathful serveant".
Tim, you wil be missed.

Your untimely death has touched the hearts and souls of people all through the country. I watched part of your funeral & the touching procession through the city you swore to protect. The sad faces of Seattlites dotted the streets as we mourned for you and your family. It was clear that you are "the best of the best," loved by your SPD family and citizens who didn't know you, but took solace in knowing you stood ready to answer their calls for help. I salute you for your service. You didn't deserve this. Rest assured, we will never forget you Timothy Brenton, or all you have done for our country....

As I sit here on the east coast of Canada and watch the funeral I think about how precious live is and how quick it can be taken away by such a selfish act, my thoughts are with the Brenton family today, even in our small community in eastern Canada Timothy will be remembered.

This is nothing short of an assassination of someone who cared enough to put on the uniform and help others, every day. The ultimate tragedy!
Thank you, Ofc. Brenton
Sincere condolences to the Brenton family, and all of SPD.
Know that your extended family north of the 49th will do anything and everything it can to help catch this despicable monster.
Rest in peace, Brother, you earned it.
