My heart is broken for the loss to our Department. I will always remember the first day I met Jerry. He was so light hearted and kind. I am so glad to know that he and I will meet again. My prayers to his family and those who are hurting from this tragedy.

GodSpeed Brother. So many times we read these and hang our heads in greif. I would like to lift up all my fellow brothers out there and remind them that these things happen. It is the nature of our line of work. We must all strive to be as safe as possible out here. Unfortunatly we sometimes get caught in the crossfire. I know in my heart that Officer Jones now has answered to a "Higher Calling". Godspeed my fellow brother and Marine, God will direct you to your next assignment.
