To Christine, Richard Jr. and the rest of the Crittenden family our prayers and thoughts are with you as they are with the members, past and present, of the City of No. St. Paul and its proud Police Department. I served with Ofc. Crittenden for several years to include the Motor Officer Program. The reflection that most sticks out with me is that I have a grin on my face when I think of several moments of when I saw him as he went through the Motor Officer Training Program back in 2001. It was the hardest thing he and I went through but he made it. If you could just see this guy riding a Harley Police Motorcycle during the training (images I will always have of Richard). By the way Richard, the wife always looks for you at the intersection of 7th Ave and Margaret St. each morning as she goes to work to see if you there taggin red lighters. To this date she says it was green- :-) Peace be with you brother!

Police Officer Crittenden,
Our Thoughts and prayers are sent to your family, friends, and to the members of the North St. Paul Police Department. I can only express that I am thankful for officers who respond to Domestic Violence calls and are willing to help and protect the victims. As I too am a survivor of Domestic Violence.
God Bless you all during these days and Officer Crittenden keep an extra watch over the officers still protecting and patrolling streets all over the world. To your family, friends and co-workers God Bless you as well.

I will miss him We used to joke when we saw each other. Last time I saw him was at the Franklyn Park Senior Apts. I was giving him a hard time when we were in the elevator along with two paramedics, I told them if I do not pick on him he would think that I didn't love him anymor. I then huged him and he said that is foe sure dear. Now my friend is gone.
