Ever since I heard about it last morning you and your family are constantly in my thoughts and prayers! My heart goes out to you and the rest of your family. There are few words that will bring comfort to you right now, but the fact that our husbands are and were heroes brings a lot of pride and a little bit of comfort in what they did for us and the country, because HEROES NEVER DIE!!!May God Bless you and your family!

For Border Patrol Agent Robert Wimer Rosas:

The duties of a law officer patrolling the border of our country is high risk. We live where people wish to break-in, not out. While we cherish being such a nation, we recognize that a per centage of those desiring entry will do it illegally.

Many miles of fenced border, numerous areas of natural concealment and intermittent hours of darkness provide opportunity for unlawful entry. While most might surrender or flee when detected, some are ready to kill to enter illegally. And, involving Agent Rosas, one did. This one is a murderer and unworthy of future citizenhip or the associated respect.

Bob Rosas was among those who choose to keep our country safe and secure and paid with his life. He is a gallant hero among heros, a soldier-of-the-law that we sorely needed and will genuinely miss.

We pray for him and his family, friends and co-workers that they might remember him well and provide the necessary support for one another.

To Patrol Agent Robert Rosas I am pround to render a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennylvania State Police

God Bless all the family of Officer Rosas at this time.
I want all Border Patrol to know how much their service means to me. If it were not for them holding the line our country would be over run.
Officer Rosas gave the ultimate sacrafice! He will have a special place in my prayers, and his family.

GOD BLESS AMERICA, AND OUR COUNTRYMEN!

I live over a 1,000 miles from our southern border. However we still know how important the work is that professionals like Agent Rosas do in keeping our country safe and free. Agent Rosas like many others before him gave the last full measure of devotion for his country and for all of us. His service and his sacrifice reflects his love of country.

My prayers are with his family. This country is truly blessed to have men like Agent Rosas.

"My Brother"

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He was idealistic and believed he could make a difference.
He was immensely proud of the uniform and the badge and what they represent.
He felt privileged to be of service to his department, his community and to his country.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He was friendly, courteous, and polite, yet firm.
He laughed and joked, but was serious when necessary.
He was competent, trained, and professional.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He had a strong sense of right and wrong and became
frustrated when true justice became sidetracked.
He felt the sharp criticism that goes with the job, but he
never wavered.
He stood by and for his fellow officers.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He longed for his family during the long hours.
He worried about them during his shifts and the lonely
weekends, holidays and midnights when they were apart.
He felt guilty about the lost time, but knew his calling
and prayed they would understand.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He was a good son, a loving husband, and a devoted father.
He was dedicated to the profession and cared about the
people he served.
He wanted to do the best job that he could and strived to
be the best he could be.
He was a good citizen and a good neighbor.

He was a cop.

Yes, I did know him.
He was a cop, he was my Brother.

Rest easy Brother Robert Rosas, we have the watch...

”I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
---Isaiah 6:8

You answered the call and made the ultimate sacrifice. Rest easy in God's kingdom and watch over us as we continue the battle here on earth!!!

It is always a sad day when a brother is killed while protecting and serving his nation. Even more regretful when he is a father and husband with young children.

GOD BLESS the family and those who served with him.
