Sergeant Tingwall, Andy and Brother Officer,
You were an officer's officer and a gentlemen's gentleman. You always showed respect to no matter who you dealt with and would do if not did anything for any officer needing help. You loved to fly and loved your helicopter. May God let you fly as high as you want.
We love you and will miss you greatly and forever.

Strange coincidence - I was uploading a N.M.S.P. photograph that I took back in 1982, when I read that sad news regarding Sergeant Tingwall.
May He Rest - In - Peace.

What an extremely brave and unselfish officer. Even in his dying moments, his thoughts were of saving another human being.
You will never be forgotten by your Police Brothers and Sisters. Thank you for your service to your country and to your community. Rest in peace Brother.
I AM A WARRIOR — by Jon F. Hooper
I stand with God. I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary.
I fight for those who can’t. I fight for Justice.
I fight for the oppressed and the downtrodden.
And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, for I serve to protect the innocent.
It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries.
Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee.
Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor.
Cry not at my passing, for it was my honor to fight for you.
Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy:
For now, I stand with God!
Blessed are the peacekeepers

Sgt. Tingwall gave his live helping save another. Police run in when others run out. It is not how these officers died that made them a hero it is how they lived. May God bless the family and co-workers
