I immediatly said a prayer the minute I heard about your initial condition. At least we know that heaven will be safer, with one more hero. Just know that you are an inspiration for all future troopers! Rest in peace, sir.

Josh,
My heart is heavy today as me and the rest of the law enforcement community mourns your loss. Words cannot even begin to correctly depict the sympathy I feel for your wife and family. As police officers we understand and accept the inherent dangers our chosen profession creates, but it is not something we dwell upon. Your selfless act of courage has created a debt that the remainder of us can only continue press forward and live in honor of you. May God comfort your family and provide comfort.

It's a shame officers are killed in the line of duty. The bad thing is, any one of us would have done the same thing, it's the way we're built. Sometimes I wish I had chosen a different profession, Im glad I do what I do. God bless your family and friends.
