God has received an honorable, brave and loving brother in the badge into His kingdom with your arrival. You will now be consorting with all of our heroic and brave brothers and sisters who have also paid the ultimate while serving and protecting Gods children here in their communities. Know that those you have left behind will never forget your name and your great professional service and they will care for your family left behind. As you walk with and talk to our Lord, give Him a hug for those of us still here. In Christ.

We did not know Tpr. Miller, but our heart goes out to his family. It is never a good day among the PSP when any officer is killed, but even harder when it is one of their own. All we can do is offer our best wishes to his family and know that he was doing what he swore to do, Protect and Serve. It's to late to say Thank you for the job he did every day, but just keep remembering what a wonderful, selfless individual he was, by doing what he did till the end of his tour. Thank you Tpr Miller. May you rest in peace, and know that you did a wonderful thing for us everday and the little boy involved on what would turn out to be your final tour.
God Bless you, and your family in this time of sorrow.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Trooper Joshua Miller. Our community honors the courage and selfless devotion to duty of Joshua Miller. We applaud his bravery and mourn his loss. Josh is a true hero. Josh’s memory will be honored forever and his actions will be remembered as heroic. The courage and steadfast determination by all law enforcement officers to risk their own lives, so that others may live, shows the world that the best of the American spirit is alive in all of us. Josh died in the performance of his duty... he died doing what he was supposed to do, PROTECT THE PUBLIC. We lost a good man. Watch over us and guide us Josh.
