What a tragedy! My heart breaks for your family as they try to figure out where to start to pick up the pieces of their lives. I pray the Lord will wrap his loving arms around them and carry them through all of the days ahead of them. I pray someone lets your children know that you were a hero. I hope your family will be able to find peace/forgiveness in their hearts as I'm sure the other officer is going through hell also! God be with him too!
