On May 18th, 1985 you were the first person I met in Dare County at the Avalon fishing pier Restaurant. Today I have known you 24 years.
Thank you for your friendship, fun, guidence and opinion on everything. You were a mans man and a cops cop.
I already miss you dad gum it!
But most of all and more importantly, you love God and have always cherished your entire family and for that I am most proud of you and all of your accomplishments you took the time to share with me.

To the Wife of Sergeant Murray,
No one will ever truly understand the sacrifice you have made but I thank you for it. You are as much a hero to me as your husband is. You children will grow to know not only that their father was an honorable man and a true hero but that their mother is strong and compassionate. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers through this very difficult time.
