My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. I was only with Metro for a few months but I had the privilege of getting the chance to meet you at yet another domestic call. Though I had met you for only a few minutes, I could see your passion. Your humor and generosity will be greatly missed by many. You will not be forgotten.....

I posted here the day after this happened.
I thought it would get a little bit easier after a few days…..
Well, I was wrong.
What a great person and a great cop you truly are.
What a privilege to have gone through the Academy together with you.
What a privilege to have worked together with you at Enterprise on your squad.
Well, rest in peace and know that you are in a much better place now.
God bless you, your entire family, and everyone you have touched.
We will all get through this and more importantly know that you are watching over all of us now.
We will certainly miss having you around, seeing your face, and hearing your laughs.
Gone but certainly not forgotten.
Keep an eye on us Manor.
See you when it’s my turn.

Rest in peace Ofc. Manor. Las Vegas is always my favorite vacation spot to visit. The LVMPD has always been a professional agency when in action. Everytime I visit I will remember the loss the department is facing. From a brother in the Northeast, may God be with you, your family and loved ones.

I am deeply saddened by the LOD death of Police Officer James Manor. The heartfelt appreciation of a truly grateful American citizen goes out to the family and friends of Officer Manor, who served honorably and faithfully, answering the call of duty when he was needed.
I offer my sympathy and deepest condolences to his family, and that they are in my prayers during this time of grief. He is a true hero, and I hope the fact that he is honored by so many brings them some comfort in this time of loss. May they feel the comfort and love from across this nation embrace them and hold them up during this difficult time. We will not forget him and will forever be in his debt for all he has done for us.
The officers of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are in my prayers during this dark time as they continue the mission of making our world a safer place. To each of you I say a big “Thank You” for doing what you do everyday. Thank you for going into “the office” when you don’t feel like it. Thank you for standing out and directing traffic in the rain. Thank you for working the night shift when we are safe in bed. Thank you for putting on that uniform everyday. You are in my prayers.
