Detective Pearson,
What can I say that no one else hasn't already said? There are no words that come easy in a time like this when a fellow brother in blue is taken from us too soon. It has already been said over and over but you are a true hero. I can't tell you how bad I felt when I heard that this happened, and especially when I heard who the suspect was since I had dealt with him previously. There is no doubt in my mind of how many lives that you touched in your short time here after seeing the turn out at your funeral today. Brother, just like the song says, "go rest high on that mountain, son your work on earth is done." I will continue to pray for your family and friends.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the son's of God" Matthew 5:9
