Allen it was nice to know that before I left Kinston PD we were able to speak about the future and what it held for the both of us. I thank you for always giving me that smile and a little bit of humor when we saw each other. Rest easy Allen and may your family find peace in their minds.

Allen, since I met you in 2005, you have set an example for those of us who entered law enforcement behind you to follow.
You have served your time as a deputy and investigator in an extremely respective manner. You've given yourself to the lord and this country honorably. I know for a fact that you loved your family. I know you loved your job. I thank you for your assistance these past few months. Please check in on us once in a while. Enjoy your peace man!
Well, I'm tired and so weary, but I must go along
'Til the lord comes and calls, calls me away, oh yes
To where the morning's so bright, and the lamb is the light
And the night...the night is as bright as the day, ohh yes
There will be peace in the valley for me someday
There will be peace in the valley for me, oh lord I pray
There'll be no sadness, no sorrow, no trouble, trouble I see
There will be peace in the valley for me, oh yes
The bears will be gentle, and the wolves will be tame
And the lion shall shall lay down by the lamb, oh yes
Yes, the beast from the wild shall be led by a child
And I'll be change...changed from this creature that I am, oh yes
There will be peace in the valley for me someday
There will be peace in the valley for me, oh lord I pray
There'll be no sadness, no sorrow, no trouble, trouble I see
There will be peace in the valley for me, oh yes
