They are ALL tragic losses, but this one hits particularly hard. This dedicated officer was so young at the time and spent the remainder of his life incapacitated! His suffering is now over! May his family be comforted knowing he rests at peace!

I remember our conversations at the morning briefings and exchanging military stories. I think and believe you are the ultimate example of bravery, from your actions on that tragic day to your ability to live life every day there after.
