This was my grandfather whom I never met as he died before I was born. I had heard the story of his passing and have seen pictures of him and his daughter, Nina, my mother. Thank you for remembering him

Marshal Gooding,
I was recently honored to participate in Law Enforcement United's Inagural "Road to Hope" in honor and memory of you. The money we raised will help ODMP continue to uncover the stories of hero's like you. May you continue to rest in peace and know that even though you left us years ago, you continue to have a positive impact on the law enforcement community.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 74th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.
Rest In Peace.
