Sheriff Berry Jones was my great uncle. I discovered his story from my mothers papers and submitted his name and newspaper clippings to ODMP. I spent 33 years in Law Enforcement, it was quite an honor to discover my great uncles story. I am humbled by his sacrifice. Law Enforcement is truly an honorable calling and many fine individuals unfortunately lose their lives yearly. May god bless them all.
