The actions of the low life who took your life constitute murder, simple and true. I don't know what charges were brought and what the outcome was, but I can only hope that this despicable person faced true justice, if not in this life, then in the next.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 43rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace.
