John ,
It will be two years in a couple weeks. Time goes so fast. I still think about that night and the last thing we said to each other, breaking each others stones and the smile I saw on your face will be how you will be rememebered. You were a dedicated officer to your community where you worked and to your fellow officers. I stopped by your eternal resting place a week ago, reading the inscription will be a memory burnt in to my mind forever. I am so sorry ! Please rest in peace

Today my lady of justice is crying because what occurred today in a Philadelphia courtroom was a travesty and mockery of justice. To all who called John beloved, you are in my heart's embrace.

I am the mom of a murdered California police officer whose wife was also expecting their first child when my son was killed. I have been following news coverage of the trial and read Lt. Pawlowski's statement made at the sentencing hearing. My prayers and thoughts are with the whole family today and I pray fervently that the full measure of justice is rendered for John, his family, his department and the community he so bravely served. From bitter experience, I have learned that the families of slain officers share two common desires: that their beloved officer and his/her sacrifice never be forgotten, and secondly that justice is served. You are each in my heart's embrace.

I was just informed of this tragic lost by a very good friend of John's brother. I am so sorry that he will not be able to see his child on this earth, although I'm sure that he will be watching over his baby. I am so sorry for YOUR loss as a wife and for his family. People don't know that police officers do more than give out parking tickets. They put their lives on the line for us every day they walk out the door. And if something does happen, it is you, the family, that pays the price along with our fallen heroes.
You have my family and my greatest condolences. We grieve with you for this hero of Philadelphia.

Today I met Officer Pawlowski's father while shopping. He had his beautiful grandson with him. He looks just like his father. I paid my respects to a wonderful father and grandfather, and wished him the best. I wish the best to all officers, and stay safe.

my dad just retired from police service after 29 years plus and every day he got home was a blessing. evil will meet officers like john pawlowkski at such random moments and places. The service of Off. Pawlowski will be forever remembered because of his family, friends and by people why may never have even known him because of a website like this. But i dont remember the name of the scumbag that killed him. I sit next to an off duty philly cop with john's name on a wristband. Some will burn in hell others will be remembered. RIP officer pawlowski

I had the opportunity to visit Philadelphia this past week. As I was standing on Market St, I watched a large procession of marked cars with lights and sirens heading to the courthouse. When I asked an officer what was going on, he told me the procession was escorting a cop killer to court. It was awe inspiring and I can see that Philadelphia PD takes it to heart to stand by their fellow brothers in blue. My condolences to your family and I pray that your killer pays.
