If We Could Bring You Back Again
If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We'd express all our unspoken love;
We'd have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We'd say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You'd know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would.
My prayers are with the family of Chief Larry Blagg. Especially his father Mr. Luther Blagg for I will keep in my daily prayers always.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Chief Blagg's untimely passing. I did not know him well, but had the distinct pleasure of meeting him at a conference some time back, and we visited extensively during that time. I was very impressed with his sense of duty and leadership. We had several discussions, exchanging best practices, etc. and I distinctly remember one particular discussion regarding personnel issues. I was very impressed to hear a fellow chief speak of his troops with such affection. It was easy for me to see how highly he thought of them. I was also impressed with what I perceived as a true "leadership by example" approach. This is a tragic loss. My heart goes out to his family and friends, the department, and the entire community.
