Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

Proud to be your great grand daughter. I too went in law enforcement. 30 years of service. So glad to see you recognized for your service.

This is a sad reflection of the past. How dare that judge give Mr.Smith's murderer 8 years in prison. A hanging is what was needed.

Justice Smith, Thank you for your service. I am originally from Tazewell County as was not aware of your death in the line of duty until now. Being from Tazewell County myself your death in the line of duty "hits home". Your sacrifice will not be forgotten. R.I.P brother!

Justice Smith,
Sir, it has taken almost 73 years but you are finally being honored. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Tazewell County. It sickens that your murderer was only sentenced to 8 years in prison.
