Brother's, Sister's and Most Respectfully, Family. It is truly a sad day when a Police Officer is killed in such a violent mannor. I have lived a similar loss and can relate directly to these lowest of times.I commend His Unit and the professional Poice action taken under "Great Restraint" to apprehend the suspect's immediately following the Killing of Brother Officer Cpl. Smith at their witness. That professionalism represents Cpl.Smith and his unit. It speaks volumes to those who truly no the Job ! I can discern his dedication , By his years in service,to being in the Gang Unit and still being "FIRST IN". It must have been Honor to work have worked with him. Too bad we don't let them know when their with us. My most sincere condolences to Cpl.Smith's family, The Dallas Police and to the citizens of Texas. Society lost a Fine Man today.
