RIP Brother in Blue. Your murderer got life in prison, which hopefully will help the healing process for your family, friends and co-workers.

I have been following the trial through news coverage, and am glad and thankful that your family received a just verdict given the sentencing options in Michigan. I am holding them all in my heart's embrace.

Justice has been served on 11/19/2010. This brings peace to our family, however, we painfully miss you. Sarah has been remarkably strong. Your little angel, Madeline is so much like you. I call her MM, mini Mason. She brings so much joy to us. You are always in our hearts. ♥

Mason and your family,
You have been waiting for far too long for this day. I hesitate to say that justice has been served. Justice would have been far more swift and harsh. I have been following your plight since before I donned my shield. Mason has been a great inspiration to me. My sympathies are beyond useful words. Rest easy my brother in God's embrace.

I pray for you and your family everyday. I pray that your murderer will be locked up for the rest of his life. Feiger can't win every case. Thank you for protecting the city I've called home for 43 years. God bless.

Thinking about you today Mason..... You would be so proud of Sarah and Madeline. We all miss you dearly, life is just not the same without you. The girls still talk/ask about their Uncle Mason daily. All 3 girls are growing up so fast, although I am sure you are watching over them and already know this. Andy and I always have "Mason would have said this" moments and they make us smile. We Love You and miss you!

Our big day just past and I have been thinking about you even more lately. In almost every situation I am in, I think about what you would be thinking at that moment and of course I know exactly what you would say...it always makes me smile.
We love you so much and keep watching over us!

I hope that we can all remain strong when the trial finally gets here. Whatever the outcome we all need to remember that Mason is with God. He knows no pain, only happiness. Those of us left here still mourn and feel pain, not Mason. So lets keep our heads up and show our support at the trial.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
I pray for solace for those who miss and love you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace.
