Rest In Peace Mason. We will always remember you. We stand by your family forever. May your friends and family find peace in the days to come. Mason, we mourn your loss and always will.

The day of the buriel was cold and cloudy, I stood in the cold listening to the prayers. When the flag was removed from the casket, the bright sun immediatly shined and casted a bright warm light at all of us. And i saw Mason's father breath a sign of relief for one moment that the Lord had just opened up his gates and welomed Mason in. WE love you Mason. God bless you, your family and friends.

It makes no difference, the name on your badge, Oak Park, Warren, Detroit, Sterling Heights, etc, we are all members of the brotherhood of the badge. When one of us is taken from the rest,we draw the circle tighter so as not to show our pain. Sarah, we need you to be strong so we can be strong. Know that you and Madeline are in our hearts and our prayers. Know that if you ever need anything, all you have to do is ask. God bless.

The Members Of 260th Willow Run Composite Squadron have you, your family and the members of the Oak Park Public Safety Dept in our thoughts and prayers. May you rest in peace brother.

The policeman stood and faced his God,which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, policeman. How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my church have you been true?
The policeman squared his shoulders and said.
"No, I guess I ain't because those of us who carry a badge can't always be a Saint."
I've had to work most Sundays
and at times my talk is rough,
and sometimes I've been violent,
because the streets are awfully tough.
But I never took a penny that wasn't mine to keep...
though I worked a lot of overtime when the bills got to steep.
And I never passed a cry for help
though at times I shook with fear,
and sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here.
They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much, but if you don't...I'll understand"
There was a silence all around the throne where the Saints had often trod.
As the policeman waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, policeman.
You've borne you burdens well.
Come walk a beat on Heaven's streets.
You've done your time in Hell"
