Jesus needed an experienced, honorable and dedicated brother in His department to enhance the ranks of our heroic brothers and sisters already there. As you join with our comrades there know you will never be forgotten here. Your years of service, your love for the safety and welfare of Gods children in your communitey and your family will always stand as a benchmark for those following in your footsteps. Rest in peace brother, give Jesus a hug for those of us still here.

At 69 years this year,I am saddened when I see another officer's life taken away. I use to think this was OLD, still so much to do, people to see sermons to preach and yes trees to clear. May Deputy Chadwell rest in peace.

The following is a Fallen Officer's Prayer that was found while a Pueblo Police Officer visited the N.Y.P.D. Museum & Ground Zero in 2005 Officer's Prayer
Fallen Officer’s Prayer
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
My Name For All Eternity.
Recorded Here At This Hallowed Place.
Alas, My Name, No More My Face.
'In The Line of Duty' I Hear Them Say.
My Family Now The Price To Pay.
My Folded Flag Stained With Their
Tears.
We Only Had Those Few Short Years.
The Badge No Longer On My Chest.
I Sleep Now In Eternal Rest.
My Sword I Pass To Those Behind And
Pray They Keep This Thought In Mind.
I Never Dreamed It Would Be Me.
And With A Heavy Heart And Bended
Knee, I Ask For All Here From The
Past...
Dear God, Let My Name Be The Last.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
