Reflections for Police Officer Robert Anthony Davis
Rest in peace Officer Davis. God bless you, your immediate family and your extended family at the San Antonio Police Department. The service you provided to the citizens of San Antonio, the great state of Texas, and this wonderful nation will never be forgotten nor taken for granted.
God speed young man and protect us from above as you did when you were with us here on earth.

My First Christmas in Heaven
I see the countless
Christmas trees
around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars,
reflecting on the snow
The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas with
Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you,
the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description,
to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart.
But I am not so far away,
We really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones,
You know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.
I sent you each a special gift,
from my heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory
of my undying love.
After all, love is a gift more precious
than pure gold.
was always most important
the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other,
my Father said to do.
I can't count the blessing or love
has for each of you.
So have a Merry Christmas and
Wipe away that tear
Remember, I am spending Christmas with
Jesus Christ this year

To Officer Davis's wife -
I am an officer at APD and did not know your husband, but I want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Lean on your friends and family for support and may your memories carry you through this difficult time. It's ok if a tear turns into a laugh or a laugh turns into tears. That's how memories help us. God bless you and your family and all that knew your husband.

Thank you Officer Davis for your unwavering sacrifice. Thank you for your service to your country while you were a devil dog and also to our city of San Antonio. Thank you for keeping us safe on all fronts.
I pray for the long road ahead for the family and friends of this fallen officer. It hasn't even been a year since my brother passed away, so I know from experience that the road is a rockey on where you'll find yourselves smiling at the memory of something that he has done, only to find ourselves tearful at the tragedy of this loss. All I can say is to turn to God. God will help you through this traumatic time. I know Robert and my brother are together and are hanging out watching over us all. I know that Matt welcomed Robert by saying, "Duuuuuude!"...lol.
Our family will be attending the visitation tonight. Prayers and hugs for your hearts....
